Created in 1949, the Castel Group is a Major Player in the African Beverage Industry. iCube, the Group’s IT subsidiary, is a Supplier Shared Service Centre dedicated to the Group’s subsidiaries.

iCube was looking for the best HR cloud solution on the market, one that was quick to integrate and easy for users to adopt.

The main challenges of this project were:

  • To implement a solution that took into account the different levels of maturity of HR processes in different countries.
  • To cover all the needs of the subsidiaries, some of which already had tools and processes in place, but which were incomplete.
  • Rapid implementation and roll-out.

During the COVID-19 crisis period, these new processes resulted in changes to:

  • the recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees, which are now carried out remotely
  • the management of remote teams or teams working partly remotely and partly physically

iCube chose SAP SuccessFactors and sought an integrator that could provide expertise and a methodology for swift deployment.

Arago and its "Arago Fast" approach, based on the best market practices, perfectly met the company's needs. A pilot project was rolled out for three key countries: Algeria, Ivory Coast, and Gabon, for the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central modules, plus an add-on for Time Off, Performance & Goals, and Learning Management System.
