Talent Intelligence Hub addresses four key talent management issues:

1. Skills management: TIH introduces a clear distinction between soft skills and hard skills, a feature not previously available in SAP SuccessFactors.

2. Skills ontology: The skills ontology brings together over 30,000 skills from international sources and over 150 million job offers to create a semantic network of interconnected skills. It recommends and infers skills using AI and NLP* (Natural Language Processing) in the Talent Intelligence Hub, with continuous updates to reflect the market.

3. Competency Centralisation: TIH places the employee at the centre of the management of their competencies and skills, providing them with a dedicated screen to manage them.

4. Complete integration: TIH creates a strong link between the Recruitment, Talent and Learning suites, facilitating integrated talent management across the enterprise.

* Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a branch of artificial intelligence that enables computers to understand, interpret and generate human language.
