take care of one's environment

At Arago, we believe that our responsibility extends beyond our projects. It encompasses the way we interact with our environment — the planet, of course, but also the people around us. It is this belief that drives us to take concrete action, through more responsible daily choices and support for causes that reflect our values: protecting the oceans, solidarity at sea, meaningful individual initiatives, and respect for those who are committed to these causes.

have a positive impact

Our commitment is reflected in concrete actions: reducing our carbon footprint, supporting environmental and social causes, and promoting a responsible corporate culture. Through our daily choices and partnerships, we contribute to a positive impact, aligned with our values and the expectations of a world in transition.

Responsible practices every day

  • Renewal of the vehicle fleet with hybrid or electric vehicles
  • Expense claim policy encouraging less polluting transport
  • Responsible purchasing policy, favouring committed suppliers
  • Organisation of seminars with service providers who share our environmental values
  • Removal of goodies and flyers, in favour of useful and understated digital media
  • Reduction of unnecessary travel, remote meetings preferred where possible
  • Raising awareness among teams about eco-friendly practices, in particular with an annual data deletion and digital clean-up campaign.

Supporting causes that matter

Our commitment extends beyond our business. We support projects that embody our values and contribute to a more responsible future:

  • Sailing towards excellence: supporting a committed sailor, a symbol of perseverance and respect for the environment
  • Preserving the future of the oceans: support for the Fondation de la Mer, which works to protect marine environments and biodiversity
  • Solidarity at sea: support for the SNSM (Société Nationale de Sauvetage en Mer – is the French national sea rescue organization, composed mainly of volunteers who carry out maritime search and rescue missions along the French coast), echoing the voluntary commitment of one of our employees.
  • Solidarity initiatives by our teams: encouraging individual initiatives, such as the Solidarity Marathon run by one of our employees to raise funds for the Le Rire Médecin charity, which brings moments of joy to children in hospital.
