Breakfast myMeta 2025: digital adoption to enhance the HR experience

A morning on digital adoption

On June 5, 2025, we had the pleasure of organizing a breakfast with our partner myMeta, an opportunity to exchange views with our customers on a subject that has become an essential part of HRIS projects: digital adoption. This convivial gathering highlighted how digital adoption tools are transforming the use of business applications, in particular SAP SuccessFactors, and more generally the experience of HR users.

The morning session featured 3 highlights:

myMeta: a powerful multi-level solution

Philippe Peyresaubes, representing myMeta, opened the session with a rich and illustrated presentation of the editor's positioning. myMeta is a digital adoption solution, i.e. an intelligent layer superimposed on web applications to guide users, improve the interface and ensure data quality.

THREE LEVERS TO FACILITATE SOFTWARE USE :
  1. Step-by-step guidance: during a specific action (creation of a position, an opportunity, performance review, etc.), the user is guided dynamically through the software, without having to consult external supports.
  2. Context-sensitive help: tips, videos, definitions or reminders can be associated with each area of the interface, to make it easier to understand the process in progress.
  3. Data quality control: by integrating directly visible and activatable business rules, the tool prevents data entry errors or critical omissions (e.g.: validation of an incomplete interview or verification of a data format such as IBAN).

One of myMeta's key differentiators is its ability to dynamically modify the user interface without impacting the source code of the underlying application. Thanks to its positioning in the browser, the solution can :

  • Hide or show certain fields
  • Pre-fill zones
  • Reconfigure screen according to role, country or user profile

This front-end overlay operation guarantees great flexibility without compromising system security or integrity. What's more, no personal data is collected or stored, fully complying with RGPD requirements.

RETHOUGHT SUPPORT MANAGEMENT

Another major advantage of myMeta is its integrated support module, which can be activated without leaving the work screen. It enables :

  • Ask an embedded AI a question or consult a contextual knowledge base
  • Record your screen with your voice to explain a problem you've encountered
  • Automatically generate a complete support ticket, including screenshots, bug description and functional context

This process saves time, streamlines the handling of incidents and avoids the need to send numerous emails back and forth.

UNE SOLUTION MULTI-CONTEXTES, MULTI-LOGICIELS

With over 150 international customers, myMeta is now used in a wide range of sectors: industry, energy, retail, finance, services... The solution works with any web-based software, including specific in-house developments.

It is particularly powerful when coupled with complex HR projects such as those carried out with Arago on SAP SuccessFactors, where it optimizes processes while simplifying their use.

Equans: the key role of design and user experience

Harleen Siassia, Director of Group HR Solutions at Equans, and Fatimata Thioune, HR HRIS Project Manager, shared their experiences of the deployment of SAP SuccessFactors with the support of Arago and the integration of myMeta.

CONTEXT: A YOUNG GROUP IN THE THROES OF STRUCTURING

Equans is a recent group, officially formed in 2022, following ENGIE's split between its production and services activities. Specializing in energy, HVAC, facility management and digital services, the group now boasts :

  • 90,000 employees
  • 19 billion euros in sales by 2024
  • A presence in 20 countries (Europe, North America/Latin America, Oceania, etc.)

One of Equans' fundamental HR pillars is clear: attract, develop and retain talent, with competent, committed employees who are close to the field.

THE SUCCESSFACTORS PROJECT: A LEVER FOR UNITY AND MODERNIZATION

From 2023, Equans has launched an ambitious international HRIS project with the support of Arago, starting with the Performance & Succession module, then continuing with Recruiting, Learning and Compensation.

The aim was twofold:

  1. Structuring a common HR culture after several post-merger reorganizations;
  2. Offer employees a modern, digital tool in line with Equans' DNA, focused on the user experience.

The challenge was also symbolic: to propose a unifying project that gives meaning, in a young group undergoing transformation. By 2024, more than 50,000 employees in 5 main countries had already embarked on the project.

Thanks to myMeta, Equans was able to completely rethink :

  • Visual forms (more legible, attractive, user-friendly)
  • The user path in the Performance module
  • People review, with an enhanced interface based on the employee's mini-CV

THE MINI-CV: A LEVER FOR COMMITMENT

This key component centralizes useful employee information (career path, aspirations, performance and talent feedback...) to feed the nine-box in talent committees. It replaces a multitude of illegible tabs and portlets with a clear, concise screen.

For our part, feedback on this project has been very encouraging, with our teams getting to grips with the technical side since the launch at the end of last year. Feedback from our internal customers on the ergonomics of SuccessFactors has been very positive, from the 1st level right up to top management. Today, we've adopted SuccessFactors, and its use has become an integral part of our assessment processes.

RESULTS AND LESSONS LEARNED

The adoption of the tool has been significantly improved, on the HR side as well as on the managerial and operational side:

  • Strong involvement of other countries in the project (France, Canada, Peru, Poland, United States, etc.)
  • Modernized image of the HR tool
  • Satisfaction shared by end-users right up to top management (special mention for the CIO)

In every country, including those on the other side of the world, feedback is unanimous on the quality of the design and ergonomics. One of the key success factors mentioned: a clear expression of needs from the outset, to enable the technical teams (Arago, myMeta) to make effective proposals.

Bel: innovation for membership

For Bel, Hassina Zennadi shared a rich testimonial on the concrete impact of myMeta in transforming their HR experience. After an attempt with another, less powerful tool, Bel found in myMeta an agile partner for :

  • Redesign your development form
  • Supporting the plant population with a tablet-friendly solution
  • Implement a UX assistant (the "Smiley") that managers really appreciate
  • Dynamically calculate indicators (e.g.: average increase in salary campaign)

The collaboration was carried out with agility, supported by a single point of contact on the customer's side, which greatly facilitated exchanges. Strict deadlines and respect for roles were key, particularly with a form that was well defined before myMeta's intervention. Last but not least, our mastery of SuccessFactors and our common vocabulary ensured that exchanges were both fluid and efficient.
