On 23 September 2024, the Palais Brongniart in Paris hosted SAP Now France 2024, a major event dedicated to Artificial Intelligence (AI). Under the theme "Be AI Ready!", this day highlighted the transformative impact of AI on businesses and work practices.
From 1 pm, participants were welcomed for an afternoon full of discoveries and exchanges. The opening plenary session featured speeches by Olivier Nollent, Chairman of the Board & Managing Director of SAP France, and Dominik Asam, Member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of SAP SE. They emphasised the importance of AI in business transformation and SAP Business AI’s strategy of "Relevant, Reliable, Responsible".
Throughout the afternoon, participants attended thematic sessions and customer testimonials, notably from Rémy Cointreau and Naos (Bioderma), illustrating the practical application of AI in various sectors. Demonstrations and discussions with experts showcased how SAP solutions can optimise business processes, from financial management to supply chain, human resources, and sustainable development.
Arago actively participated in the event by hosting a flash session on "HR Process Transformation at SBM Offshore". This session highlighted best practices and innovations to optimise human resource processes in a complex and international environment.
Moreover, Arago organised a breakout session entitled "Optimisation of Global Processes and Strengthening Compliance at Rémy Cointreau". This session, led by Xavier Lageste, Finance, Human Resources & Legal Information Systems Manager at Rémy Cointreau, and Damien Morvan, Pre-Sales Manager & SAP Concur Specialist, offered valuable insights into how Rémy Cointreau uses SAP solutions to improve its processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
The vast exhibition space was a hub of interactions, with stands dedicated to business applications, the Business Technology Platform, services and support, as well as various sectors. The flash sessions, short and interactive, provided practical insights into SAP's innovations and those of its partners.
The day concluded with a round table on the challenges of digital transformation, featuring Frédéric Vincent, Chief Digital & Information Officer of the Renault group. The discussions were followed by an exceptional private concert in the magnificent nave of the Palais Brongniart, offering a moment of conviviality and networking among peers and experts.
